The root-cause exam is a focused pediatric evaluation that looks beyond immediate symptoms to identify contributing structural, developmental, or activity-related factors. For children we review posture, movement patterns, relevant history and any prior imaging, then synthesize findings to determine whether in-clinic care or further specialist referral is appropriate.
Because every child’s activities and environment matter, the exam considers daily routines — play, sports, school posture and local lifestyle factors in Plano. If findings suggest concerns outside our scope, we coordinate next steps with families so treatment is integrated and timely without assuming outcomes.

The massage portion provides targeted, hands-on soft-tissue work chosen to reduce localized muscle tension and improve comfort prior to any hands-on adjustments. Pressure and techniques are adapted for a child’s size and tolerance; the goal is to prepare tissues identified during the exam, not to replace evaluation or specialist assessment when needed.

Appointments begin with intake and a concise review of history, followed by the root-cause exam and a focused therapeutic massage. This combined service is $69 and lasts 30 minutes, structured to give families a clear assessment, immediate soft-tissue care, and next-step recommendations within a single visit.
