Initial evaluation and exam
Every adjustment begins with a focused review of your health history and a movement-based clinical exam. The doctor looks for range-of-motion limitations, joint restrictions and patterns of movement that relate to your pain or stiffness before any hands-on care is performed.
This evaluation also considers your comfort and safety, including prior injuries or medical concerns. Local activity patterns — commuters coming off the Dallas North Tollway or people active around Legacy West and Arbor Hills — help shape practical goals for the adjustment plan.
Adjustment methods and comfort
The doctor selects an approach based on exam findings and your personal comfort, using controlled manual guidance and positioning to target specific spinal segments and joints. Care is adjusted in real time; you’ll be asked about pressure, sound, or sensations so the technique can be modified for safety.
Communication and consent are central: we explain what to expect and offer gentler options where appropriate. That matters for older adults, people recovering from recent activity, or busy professionals seeking a brief, tolerable visit before or after work.
What to expect during care
A typical visit includes a short review, a movement assessment, the selected adjustments, and brief self-care or movement advice afterward. Sessions are scheduled to be efficient — the standard visit length is 30 MINUTES — and designed to fit into a Legacy West or after-work routine.
You may feel immediate change, subtle shifts, or mild soreness afterward; responses vary. The office recommends wearing comfortable clothing and sharing any concerns so the doctor can adapt technique. The service fee for a standard adjustment visit is $70.
